Egg Yolk Tempura
This glaze is designed to be brushed on cookies before or during baking. It produces vibrant, glossy colors.

- 2 egg yolks
- 2 teaspoons cold water
- Liquid or gel food coloring in color(s) of your choice
Steps
Beat egg yolks with cold water in a small bowl. Depending on how many
colors you want, leave the mixture in one bowl or divide it up among
two or more smaller bowls.
Tint each batch with 3 to 4 drops of food coloring. Brush on cookies before baking, or for larger cookies, near the end of the baking time.
