Burnt Butter Icing

Yield: 1 1/2 cups


Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons Burnt Butter, at room temperature
  • 1 3/4 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 to 3 tablespoons hot water

Instructions

  1. Beat butter, sugar, vanilla, and 1 tablespoon water until smooth and
  2. creamy. If icing is too thick, add more water, a tablespoon at a time.
  3. Use immediately, or refrigerate in a covered bowl for up to 2 days. Let come to room temperature and beat again before using.
