Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Pecan Praline
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease or spray cookie sheets.
- Crush the praline into fairly coarse pieces and set aside.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar on medium speed until light, about 2 minutes. Beat in egg and vanilla. Beat dry ingredients into butter-sugar mixture to make a soft dough. Stir in pecan praline.
- Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheets. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until light golden. Let cookies stand on baking sheets for a minute, then remove to wire racks to cool.
